b18a1 into eg hatch
hey i have learned alot on doing a b18a1 obd0 swap into my 94 hatch..
i have a b18b1 obd1 head laying around for it since the current head on the motor is blown...
would any b series obd1 alternator work for the car? can i just use my d series alternator? (guessing no)
would i need new mounts, and brackets to put it in my eg hatch?

Yeah get you an OBD-1 B-Series Alternator. You can use a combination of stock mounts. I am not a fan of stock mounts so I got a mount kit for putting a B-Series into a 5th gen Civic.
ah ok and what would i do with the wiring ? since the block is originally off a obd0 integra...
since my head is obd1 is the head the only thing that needs wiring? my car is obd1 btw
if its just the head its plug and play,... but if block needs to be converted to obd1 wat do i need to do?
oh yea since its a b1 head with b1 intake manifold.. im guessing it will make same power as the b18b1 ls?

Get:
-OBD1 P75 ECU
-OBD1 Alternator
-OBD1 Distributor
-Use Stock engine harness or OBD1 LS Engine Harness
-Get correct Mounts
-B-Series Tranny
-B-Series Clutch & Flywheel
-B18B1 Upper & Lower Rad. Hoses
-Integra Shift Linkage
-94-00 Integra LS Throttle cable
-94-00 Integra LS Axles & Intermed. shaft
-LS Exhaust Header or Manifold if you don't have one
Note: You will have to extend your 4-wire 02 Sensor to reach the bung for the B-Series engine. You "might" gave to extend your wires for your IAT(Intake Air Tempature) Sensor to make it reach. Mine was close but I was able to get it to reach without extending. You may have to cut the mounting flange off your Cat. Converter, rotate 90 degrees and weld it back up. I used a cheap egay header and the flange was 90 degrees off from the D-Series so I marked where the flange on the cat needed to be and since I can't weld, took it to a muffler shop and had them re-weld it.
Hopefully I am not missing anything.

b18a1 block with the axles and shaft
linkage
the 91 ecu
stock exhaust
stock mounts(will these direct bolt on? Or do i have to get different mounts if so wat? 94-01 ones?)
cable tranny(local mechanic says he can convert it to hydro tranny for me)
clutch
flywheel
obd0 dizzy
obd0 alternator(b series)
what i have now
b18b1 complete head/with cams
b1 intake manifold obd1
ordered headgasket
planning on trying to get the distributer or alternator next paycheck(i am still 16 therefore high school kid still and part time job, so dont get paid that much)
its possibly going to be a month to 2 months before i get it fully ready to be put everything in
use the civic harness, if your ls harness is from 92 - 93 integra becuase it doesnt have the electronic speed sensor plug. since integra was a cable sensor.. i ran into this issue im not sure if theres a easy fix for that but why bother if you have the civic harness. but its a pretty easy swap, just take your time. i dont know much about obd-0 ecu but if its anything like obd2 its not going to plug into you obd1 plugs for the ecu without jumper harness... im sure someone on here will be able to shed light on that for you.. goodluck
I guess I didn't pay enough attention. I didn't know you already had a B-Series Tranny. But I see you do. I don't know enough about non OBD to try and help so just disregard anything I said earlier I guess. Good Luck.
you pretty much cannot retain anything that's obd-0...
No, DA mounts and linkage will not work. You need mounts from a 94-01 integra and linkage also(can also be 99-00 si linkage). You need to get the ecu from a 94-95 LS(P75)... You must reuse your civic harness, or buy a 94-up integra harness. You must get a hydro transmission, since i dont think you have one. Clutch kit for b-series hydro, flywheel also... You need axles, id get 94-01 integra axles for a "for-sure" fitment. Radiator, as stated above also hoses. Make sure you get lower mount brackets from the integra also, they make a pretty good difference if youre going to be using stock integra mounts. Good luck.

the current items i have coming in is an alternator, dizzy, and heard that the DA integra axles might fit, i am geting whole motor mounts and the rear t bracket from 94-01 integra for $60, and im currently looking for linkage... oh yea and got the throttle cable
if u have the da half shaft u can use da axles... its a very easy swap but sounds like u may need someones help thats familier with swap, when u r ready to do swap... just take your time
What supra-n-civic was saying is that the OBD1 D-Series engine harness will plug into your OBD1 B-Series Alt. He wasn't saying for you to use your D-Series Alt.

heres a guide to help you install engine step by step... its for a a b18c1 but its almost same **** just gives you list of what you need and how to doit..

im doing the same thing in a 95 civic w/ d15b8 I have a whole 90 integra can i just swap the engine, harness, mounts, linkage, ecu and anything else form the integra straight over or will i have to buy anything extra?
