just bought one last night. i noticed the door locks where not working. i pulled the door panels off. it was just unplugged. i plugged it in and when i unlock it, its stays unlocked for a second then locks. the passenger side dosent work at all. the rods are call connected. i also noticed when i mess with the switch the passenger side mirror moves.

no wires on the doors have been cut or messed with. can this be a burnt wire somewhere or something like the lock control relay?

digital multi meeter is the tool you need when dealing with electrical problems it can be all of the above in the list of electrical you need to start checking the power source then follow to see where is the problem .
