what color is most appealing to buyers
Im selling my car soon, and I want it gone fast. What color should I paint it? Satin black, gloss black or any other colors. I was thinking satin or gloss because it was those colors before. What is the cheapest method to paint it? It is white now and here are pics or the gloss and satin and how it is now.
The bay and jambs are white, but I painted it that way. It was red when I bought it off someone. It was fady and pinkish and I didn't like it. Then I painted it black.
I'd go white then if the bay and jambs are that color. Also, a nice clean white should look good to buyer's as well. It looks kinda like a blank canvas, lol. It also looks more OEM that satin black which may be more appealing because not everyone likes satin painted cars. Some think it looks like primer or just a cheap spray can job even if it's not. I'd also try to get the molding for the fender, get the front panel fitment right, and paint your wheels a nice white or silver because that will suit more potential buyer's tastes than green.

+1 on the body painted the same color as the jambs and bay. It's way cleaner that way. Of course, the value diff. might not be worth you respraying if the paint is in good condition.
Yeah I was going to ask as well, how much more do you plan on selling the car after the paint job compared to the paint that's on it right now? You may be better off just cleaning the car up a good bit like detailing the engine bay, interior, making sure everything fits right, painting the wheels a different color, etc. You may get less for the car than what you initially inteded on but it will cost you less this way too. Possibly netting you the same profit.
i want to get 2500 for it. The bay is all tucked and the inside is mint except for a lil rip in the driver seat. the paint is **** up close and that is the worst on the car.
