About to order Skunk 2 Pro S Coilovers for my 95 LS Integra. Opinions
I'm hearing mixed reviews about bounciness. I don't care about a stiff ride. I hear also the lower you go with the Pro S, the bouncier the ride. I've lowered a car with the skunk 2 sleeved coilover with factory strut on my 02 Si (ep3) and they made racket, but the ride was ok. I don't want to spend anymore than 650$ and i can get the skunk 2 Pro S shipped to my door for 630$. I want the tokico RAK(94-01 integra), but thats 200$ more dollars. I also want the groundcontrol/koni combo (94-01 integra), but thats $200 more dollars. I would like to hear from someone that has a set of Pro S skunk 2s on their 94-01 DC2 and fill me in on how they ride. But i will take any opinions that help me out.
i have a set on my ek and i must say that they're complete garbage. My friends had told me this before i bought them, but i did it anyway. Too stiff for my taste and my entire car feels like it's gonna fall apart when i hit any kind of bump. Switching over to koni yellows and a nice set of springs. Shouldn't be more than 650 shipped.
Yeah, i hear they are junk 2. I may want the GC/Koni yellow combo. Anyone know the cheapest place? I know you can get them at THmotorsports for 799.99 shipped. Is that the cheapest place?
I have the pro s coilovers on my EK If I had it to do over again I would buy a different brand . They are ok if the car is not slammed but as I said I would spend the extra 200 and buy a better brand .

They're not bouncy at all...they're stiff as ****. Some hardcore types will tell you they're not stiff, but the are.
Self decipline man...just save the money and go Koni/GC. That's what I did after I sold the Pro-S coilovers two years ago and I've been completely satisfied ever since. There's a reason why it's so popular.
Oh, and new GC springs are cheap as hell, so I'm chump change away from a new set up if I want it. Or I can just adjust the shocks.

Since you already have the slip ons why don't you just change your struts? I would tell you to pick up Koni's but they don't make the adapter ring for your EP.
