Serious?

That is a laser cut key, and you have a dual sided key.

No, that won't work.

Try searching ebay for a flip out key for your car if that's what your going for.

Buy a flip out key that will work for your car. Even if you could use the blank like the key you posted above, all those buttons mean nothing.

Don't say the site sucks just because you didn't get the answer you were looking for.

Everything might be possible, but remember, you have to have enough money and it won't always make sense.

Basically it sounds like you want us to recommend that you get the key you posted, get the matching ignition lock cylinder from the newer model, do a bunch of rewiring, wire everything to work with power door locks and an alarm, etc.

So if that's what you want us to tell you to do, go do it.

So then you want to know what Honda would charge to make you a new key?

How do you think we would figure out? I don't understand how people cannot figure out what parts go for new.

Call Honda.

It's seriously going to be $5-7 for a new ignition key. I don't have the time right now to price out an estimate for how much all new locks and keys would cost for your car.

I think it's funny when people write this ... it's suppose to be a word in French: "Voilà"

Anyway, I mentioned elsewhere on this board that the last parts order I had, I tacked on a couple of blanks for less than $2 each. Took them to the dealer and had them cut ... NO CHARGE. Meaning, I got a OEM Honda key purchased and cut for less than what they'd charge me for a copied key at a hardware store.

It would be too hard to make a key like that.
Just get keyless entry.
