gsr obd1 head to obd2 block?
first of all i got
obd2 gsr converted to obd1 in 94 civic cx obd1
all my parts are obd2 including the dizzy and wire harness
big problem is when i got the motor the exhaust manifold hole on the head is ****ed up(somebody was stupid to drilled it into inside of the head itself) yea crazy huh
so i found obd1 head and was wondering if i can put obd1 head to obd2 block
but still be able to run the obd2 dizzy on it?
also is whats the difference in obd2 gsr and obd1 gsr? is it sensors?
thanks

no pictures but you guys should know what it looks like lol
im thinking its the same since all the internals are the same
so if all of us are correct it is safe

x2!!! sounds like someone was a trying to become a creative fabricator. you should be fine with an obd1 head on an obd2 block. main difference in the obd2 block is the crankshaft fluctuation sensor near the crank of course. obd1 engines don't have this, as the ecu reads cam position and crank speed at the distributor. just use the obd2 distributor, and it's back on the strip you go.
