Default H issues out of nowhere!!

hey guys, i recently swapped an h22a1 into my 92 civic dx and this last weekend i had a few issues. Ill say the major issue was that when i turned the car on it idled well as usual, i allowed it to warm propperly and backed up and when i went into first and began to apply the gas it started to sputter and my lights were dimming.. and the car was droppin the idle to about 4-500rpm. I called a buddy and he told me to check the plugs.. reset the ecu and see what happened.. the Plugs looked like they had some condensation in them a slight bit at that.. and when i reset it worked... Im jus lookin for some help as to why this may have happened, ty hope my ignorance doesnt drive anyone crazy

so are you saying you no longer have the problem? if the lights were dimming that could be a sign of the alternator not working properly. at the same time you will typically get a electrical load detector CEL if this problem occurs. hows the car drive now?

Check Alternator, then Battery, sounds like what happened in my H22 DC this past week. Didn't want to idle, recoil was bad, wanted to stall, when a load was on it, headlights etc/heater wanted to stall...

Check the TPS .5 at closed 4.5 at WOT. Get it as close as you can. Simply take the voltmeter stick a needle in the middle wire of the TPS on back side and slide it in till it makes contact with the pin, then hook it up and voltmeter it.

I personally also had to adjust the throttle lever stoppage screw on the throttle body to get it up a turn or two. Solved my issue.
