One time I scraped one in a real narrow drive-through. I stopped on a turn, and when I started movin again I didn't realize how close my wheel was to the curb. I wasn't happy... my rims were brand new.

 

i jumped one once at about 55mph....3 bent rims 2 bent lca's... and tweaked the passenger front spindle......jumped the curb to avoid being hit head on by a car according to the police report doing 70mph+

 

when i learned to drive, i curbed our mini van hehe

 

I hit one today, going around 20-30 mph, i bent the arm, and the arm box i think its called, and well i've ruined my **** mobile, im now hoping to get about 500 for it. its a pain in the ****

 

yes, smoked a curb, bent lower control arm, knuckle/spindle, torsion bar, and worst of all, broke my rim, spoon sw388

 

I hit one with my old car smashed the steelie to hell. Since I get my Konigs I stay far from the curbies.....

 

my friend and I went drifting in the snow one day last winter here in UT, and him and another friend went in this 'clear area' with fresh snow.

needless to say, they went drifting very far, and in this 'fresh snow' was a nice huge curb there.

put his car out of alignment and bent the rear lower control arm having positive camber.

 

i once did on my old Nissan 200SX
was kinda wet bc it rained. was doind like 25..... turned, car slipped i did a 180 and hit the curb and looking the oppsite way..... bend only the lower part of my pass door...... proff that accidents happens and u dont have to go fast.....

 

thats how my poor first car ended up getting totaled..

i was in a softball parking lot that has long winding turns like a race track..its was fun as hell until one day i hit a patch of sand at 70mph and spun the *** end...counter steered praying i would be able to make the next right hand turn...but i never got traction and ended up hitting the curb at a 75 degree angle..jumping the car 2 feet into the air.

after i came down and into a skidding/amost pissing in my pants stop it was time to observe the wreckage.

well my friend gets out the car laughing his azz off and says "dude nothing happened!!"
so i get out..the side i slammed the curb..it was nasty

both wheels anialated
one shattered brake disc
one bent axle
most all of the control arms cracked in half
exhaust ripped off
under cariage bent to hell
cracked dashboard
engine idle..4k rpms
1 pedestrian sign knocked 60 feet away

then when we went up the the pay phone(time 10 pm) we saw a guy leaving the office..and heading toward the gate..holy **** he locked us in!! never knowing we where there.
when the tow truck got there he would jump the curb to get into the park or tow the car without calling the police...so they get there and i tell a good story on how i was driving through looking at the field going 30 mph and ran into the curb..they believed me and i got off wit a careless driving ticket..but they thought i jumped the curb to get into the park which would have been trespassing..but they believed me that the guy locked me in cuz of where my car was and how he couldnt see it or me..hehe!!

i threw all my broken parts and sign i broke into a dumpster so it didnt look that bad once they got there...but it ended up goin to the junkyard...since then (16)..ive gained respect for all cars and the road...lesson learned

 

One time my brother was in our pickup and he went around a curb. He started to loose the back end and counter steered but he did it too much and the back end came all the way back around 180 degrees and he hit the curb at like 25. He snapped the wheel clear off the axel. Luckely it was covered under insurance it ended up costing like $2800 to have it fixed.

 

i was once making a hard left in my rex and ate the curb both front and back tires on my left side rode up the curb and i had 2 flats

i told my dad i had to move over cause some guy almost hit me, he still doesnt belive me

 

fell asleep at the wheel on 2 different occasions. hopped 2 curbs and did a 50-50 grind for 15 ft. i started laughing after i got back on the street. on me for not getting enough sleep. i work hard yo.

 

yeah, back in my old mirage. i was winter, and i need to make a about a 50 degree turn ina fork in the road, and going about 20 mph, i hit a huge patch of ice just as i started to turn. ont he ice i tired sterring out of it, accelrating into it to get traction sterring with the skid, then trying to slow down, the slide went on for so long i actually had time to give up trying. i hit the curb in the middle of the fork head on and bent my drivers axle and lca.

 

my friend used to jump em for fun.....but then again he drove a rodeo

 

i hit curbs every day. i also stall my car every day for a week at least once a month. kind of nice tho.. makes peeps think im slow
