My EG is my daily driver, I don't race, but I am getting tired of the D15b7 in there and was wondering what a better swap would be just for a bit more speed, I was thinking of just going with a stock GSR but wanted opinions.

 

I'm in las vegas too.. go with a LS motor, cheaper than a GSR and its great for boost. But if you have the money.. GSR all the way

 

there's alot've different choices. it really depends on your budget and how much more power you want. a gsr is a good choice but if you don't have the funds and still want a dohc vtec you can pick up a b16 for pretty cheap nowadays

 

On a budget, but I'll pay good money for good parts, so LS or B16?

 

if it is between those 2 i would rather go with the ls , my old civic had a z6 and when i dropped in the b16a2 it felt just a tad different i mean IMO its not worth it. now i have a 00 civic with a GSR and i love it , great engine

 

b16 if you want vtec.
ls if your looking for a good motor for cheep.
gsrs are great for all motor or boost.

 

GSRS are excellent but if not B16.
