Default blox c vs. s2pro2

I was speaking with my tuner and was told the blox c would be a better choice for my 12.5 comp twm itb'd b20v. I was interested in y'alls opinion. I am shooting for about 230 na and then make up the rest of the 300 with the juice.

Usually if your tuner is any good and established and you trust them, you go with what they recomend. The Blox C cams are an exact copy of the Jun 3 cams, that being said, the pro 2's should destroy those C's in every area on that motor of yours.

I run Blox Cs and make excellent power with them 225whp in a 1.8L. Given that, I would recommend Pro 2s. They will make more power than Blox Cs everywhere.

Props to 00Red_SiR.

maybe he doesnt like tuning pro-series cause of the larger primaries and the fact you have ITBs to boot and thats why he recommends the blox-c's

Pro-2s will have huge gains if tuned properly on your setup

just a thought

i think you might the one i spoke to on the phone the other day, it's really up to you wat kind of investment and power you like to make, we hv tested both cams on 2.0l motor and the pro2 sure makes better overall power, if they are properly dialed in. IMO, the pro2 idles just as good as the type c, and everyone knows jun 3 profile is proven to make power on almost every allmotor build, even varies CR. if you dun mind spending a little more, the pro2 will be the way to go. we also hv a set of type c laying here that we can always toss it in and see which one makes better power.

here is an example of b20/vtec build with blox c that we just did few days ago:

good luck
