My old OEM ones gave up today. I bought some non oem from NAPA. They come up fine but its very hard to push them down. The dealer wants 140.00 a set. Thats just too much for my budget. Hard to find in the junkyard.

Does anyone know any good hatch struts that work like the OEM ones. Any places like autozone, kragen, or pepboys have them?

 

I need to replace mine too. I'll let you know if I find anything out.

 

same here man...my shocks are out...and my hatch is hella heavy!!! i hate pullin the stroller out and puttin it back in...oh and grocery shoppin is one of the worst in my car too cuz i have a pole that holds it up...the pole slipped out and luckly half my body wasnt in that sh*t or it prolly would have chopped my skinny lil body in half.. lol

39.99 a piece. Total like 80 bucks. I'm sooo close in buying the OEM ones for 140.00 but if someone knows a pair thats cheaper let me know. Thanks.

 

Why dont u just go on craigslist or the forums marketplace and find a nice used pair for cheap.

 

ive tired night and day searching on craigs list for them but cant fiind any... and the market forum place...that place gives me a head ache. lol

 

I got the autozone ones in my car been having them for 3 years. They are still holding up fine with no problems what so ever.

 

These NAPA brand ones I have hold up fine too but they're hard to push them down. Are your autozone ones easy to push down? If so, I'll purchase those instead of the dealer prices.

unfortunatly you prolly will soon. hope i dont jinx you haha. mine worked most of the time ate least in the AZ summer heat, but when it got cooler i had to hold it up.

 

believe me i try napas n stuff and fitment was not good at all.i return them..i paid for the oem fit perfect.its worth the money it save u money and hold up for another 17+year to come.

 

Yeah. I'm returning the napa ones. I just installed the sweet OEM supports. I bought them for 52 a piece. Not bad. Black Friday isn't that bad.
