what should i up grade?
bought a whale ***** intake and victor x manifold. cams?

you should not use that whale *****
you also do not want a victor x, you would want a performer x
cams would certainly help depending on what your on now

The whale ***** intake does not make power compared to a good 3" CAI or a tuned intake pipe. ITR/CTR cams are good for all motor but if you want to make more power, you have to go larger. Skunk pro 1's are a good place to start looking.
yeah the whale ***** is just crap basically for power.
i thinkthat if you went to the same dyno, with a new intake manifold and exhaust and a new tune you could see 200 on those cams.

whale ***** is a fanboy intake. It looks cool. Thats about it. A cold air or tuned length intkae will make way more power than a whale ***** will. As, for the cams, just look on the first page of this section at the Pro1 vs Pro2 cam dyno. Rocket M22x or Buddy CLub 4's would also be a good choice for cams

A good tune will help alot. A good set of cams will also help. To me one of the best things you can do to any motor is good head work. Find a machine shop you trust and have them port and polish it. If you did that with a set of new cams, a good tune, you will make over 200whp easy.
Why would you say that? Your prob the first person Ive heard say something negative about the performer x? Was your car tuned for it?
ITR springs are made for cams with the same lift as ITRs. You could get away with cams like Skunk2 Stg 1s or BloxA cams but anything over that and your asking for trouble. Good valve springs are cheap anyway, no need to upgrade your ITR retainers if you dont have a ridiculous amount of miles on them
