ok so i just got my 94 teg 1.8ls 5 spd 150 on the clock exhaust and thats it. i want to boost it soon, the sooner the better but i wanna do good mods to help along the way. i also will daily drive it so iwanna keep it manageable on fuel. i already picked uo jg engine dynamics timing gears and a valve cover with bungs for catch can for cheap. i have access to a t/3 to4e for pretty cheap as well would that work on a stock bottom end?

my first real thing id like to learn is about tuning. being OBD1 is there any laptop beginner good programs to start on that will allow me to tune myslelf N/A and will eventually let me tune boosted?

I think you need to set a power goal and guidelines for what you are willing to do. Will you do any work on the bottom end? Will you put on a VTEC head? If the answer to both is 'no', you don't really need to do much, because you'll have to get turbo-specific intake and header, so you can't really prepare for that.
