Default Help! My Innovetive Mounts are off by a half inch.

I have a 99si, and I am putting a b16a into it. I have a set of Innovative mounts and I think the front tranny mount is the wrong one. The back one is on well, the driver side on is on, but the front tranny one is off by 1/2 an inch. Could it be the bracket that connects to the tranny? I NEED HELP NOW! PLEASE.

loosen them all up and then put it on. more then likely with that on side tight its pulling it that way

Thanks bro! I figured it out. The mount bracket was bent all to F***. I have to either bend it back, or get a new one. Thanks a bunch though.

I had this same problem on my 99 si, with the motor mount that hooks to the timing belt side, innovative mount as well to replace the OEM that probably ripped before it ever left the showroom lol, not sure what honda was thinkin with that design. Had to do a little bending on the bracket... Pain in the ***! Good luck with your transplant!

No, it was the tranny bracket that connects to the tranny. Not the mount itself. i just need to bend this one back, or get a new one. The mounts are nice, I like them!

Yes they are nice when you get them in lol. Just hope you didn't get the gray bushings! If so be ready to vibrate your *** off! And just curious, why swap a B16a in for a B16a2?

It's the motor from another car. They are pretty much the same thing, but I have too much invested in it to let it go. I have a build thread you can look at to see. they are the black inserts FYI.
