I have a 98 Type R and I cant stand looking at the tape deck anymore. I never use it and it looks ugly. I also never used my ashtray or my cigg plug in adapter (which is the shelf below it). I want to take both of those out and replace them with two shelves to put my cell phone and other random stuff in. When I took my car to circuit city, they said they dont make the same size shelves as my tape deck and ashtray deck. They look like a pretty universal fit to me. Can anyone help me or recommend a different place to talk to? Thanks!

 

I'd recomend going to a car stereo shop. If they have good experience like the ones near me, I guarantee they can do anything you can possibly dream of.
