'85 civic carburetor problem HELP!
I just bought a car and the owner said it had a blown headgasket.
I drained the oil and there was no antifreeze in it.
I drained the antifreeze and there was no oil in it.
So I changed BOTH the fuel filters and plugs and distributor cap/rotor.
It is getting gas in ONE side of the carb, the top or side toward the rear of the car.
The choke is operating correctly.
The front side of the carb is not spitting gas out of the jet.
We got it to start IF YOU PUT YOUR HAND ON THE CARB TO BLOCK THE AIR, it will keep running with your hand there too.
But It will not start by itself and once you remove your hand it cuts off IMMEDIATELY.
What do I need to do to get the car running/what is wrong?
/edit The car has like a million vacuum lines /edit
