I am putting a rebuild kit on my 1990 integra and so on but the thing is that when I took my motor apart along with my rods and pistons.... so what i did was marked the rods 1-4 from timing belt to flywheel and i think my friend might of switched the last two before i marked them but im not sure so my question is is there a way to tell and what will happen if they are when everything is back together and also when i pulled the rods and pistons out the rods where marked.. one rod number 2 and three rods number 3 so plz send me feed back thank you
Wont really matter as long as you have new bearings. About the only way to tell would be if the journals/rods were different sizes and you still had the old bearings in (you could then tell of the color of the bearing). Bottom line - wont matter if you switched them, they are basically the same with the exception that maybe they are different rod #s, but even then it doesnt really make a world of difference has Honda measures down to .0001" difference.
