Default act clutch noise?

im getting this noise whenever i release the clutch pedal when pulling away, a little whurring/screechin sound, kinda like the sound a slipping alternator belt makes but not as loud. sounds like its coming from the gearbox area to me.. it does it in reverse aswell, sounds a little worse i think if you slip the clutch abit in traffic.

its an ACT extreme clutch, B18C ITR turbo. clutch has covered around 3k miles, hasnt always made this noise, has been doing it for the last couple of months.

any idea's..?

Default Re: act clutch noise?

starter motor started playing up, so have replaced it, and now the noise has gone lol

so it was something to do with the starter, possible it was engaged on the flywheel all the time, and the noise was the starter sprocket turning when pulling away?
