From: Howcome we park on driveways, and drive on parkways?
I was having some problems with my TPS sensor....
I was getting some sputtering while driving and it would even pull me along while i wasnt giving it any throttle.
No CEL's previously....
I got a new TPS from Inline4 and installed it on the car....
First off i noticed that the clip did not clip on to the new TPS as well as it had on the old.
Next i turn the car on and the CEL stays on, and my idle is between 1600-1900 rpms....and The TPS is reading .45 ohms with no pressure. ( that was on the workbench not connected to car)
what is my possible problem here? im loosing my mind. I hate CEL's and am driving myself crazy trying to figure out what else i need to do to get this fixed...

Alot of people use the voltage route. I've NEVER had good luck doing it that way. When I did it that way to spec and looked at my Data logger on my ITR, and my VAFC when I had a DA, it was a few percent off +/-. Instead I'd actually use the data logger/VAFC to find 0% and when I do idle is rock solid.

so what was wrong was the two tabs on the TPS sensor werent lining up with the two tabs on the throttle body. So every time we bolted it up, it it was way off from the start. Once we had it lined up we used the volt meter to adjust to .55 actually...(little crisper response) but now that i have changed it everything seems to be working great...
