Black Type-r Shells
www.getwwa.com has 2 black type-r same place i got mine from if anyone is interested hit them up. u can deal the price with them.
can't see the future but i would guess no unless you get them really cheap. the ITR's that are going to hold or increase in value are the under 50k mile all stock well taken care of cars. every single collector car has this in common. the mint factory correct examples are always worth the most. there are probably a couple ITR's around the 5,000 mile mark alive and could probably fetch MSRP if they were ever to sell.
world wide auto bought the black shell with the missing doors at a las vegas auction. i was watching the same auction and saw them get it for $100 it was a good deal, but i am in fla and the shipping would have been a lot.

There is no profit on those shells at all.
And with the money you're gonna spend, you're better off buying one with clean title, low mileage, and that's been taken care of.

i recived my shell for free from a friend, after they had stolen it from her, all i had to do was pull it from the salvage yard! missing quite a few things, but cant complain, shell is in excellent conditions!
also it still has a clean title

Having gone the shell route in the past I can definitely verify it is the much more expensive route. I took an RS shell, restored it, turbocharged it, and kept going. It's hard to stop tuning once you start. $15k, blood sweat and tears, and a year later I had a car that ran high 12's and took second place at a big local show. I sold the car about a year after that. It's usually the way things go.
I would like to get an ITR shell and combine my GSR into it. De-badge it, de-wing it, and basically pass it off as an LS. I'd even sell the 5 lug. Be nice if it had the seats but the fake carbon fiber would have to be sold off.
The Type R chassis is far superior to the standard Integra chassis. And I'd rather have my GSR engine / Type R trans combo with no exterior flash. So that's my plan... although $5k for that salvaged R with LS engine is just stupid.

swap all the parts over to the usdm,
paint the car and your done!
all in all it should cost around 11k but for that youd get
a freshly painted itr
jdm front end
+98 200hp version b18c at 70k km(44k miles)
red jdm recaros
17 in itr wheels
a clean recorded (theft is not a record,I think) black itr with all the above worth it IMO!
heres my math
buy the usdm itr 1.5k
bargain for the jdm car to 5k(he will take it)
ship the car as ddu(insured) 1.5k max
do not registere the car for street use, parts car(free)
pay customs and towing to home 1k
swap all parts(everything is there already minus Lhd dash 200 bucks)
paint the car to desired colour(itr black IMO) 1.5k
