Default HOW MUCH IS IT WORTH?

My friend is thinking about selling his hatch. But doesnt know where to start the price at. We were thinking around 17-18k? I know he has close to 40k invested. It made 623whp @ 20psi. Everything on this car is mint. Motor is built to handle 35psi. Honestly i think 600+whp scared him enough so he didnt turn it up anymore. Im just posting this to get some input from H-T on what everyone thinks he can get out of it. Thanks for you time

Please bump if viewed

He would rather not part it out. As for a mod list i dont know the exact specs for it. I do know its a 2ltr gsr(not sure what pistons and rods) itr tranny, full race mani, traction bars, 4in dp and full exhaust, 3 stage boost controller.

Your friend will never get 18K out of it by selling it as one car. No one will risk paying that much for something that has no tangible real value. The car fits a small cluster of indiviuals and the majority of those people are young and/or broke. I love hondas but putting 40K into a honda that you drive around down is not the smartest idea honestly. Sorry for being so negative but its the truth. The other member is correct the best way would be to part out the entire car.

Negativity is welcome Old, it took him about 6yrs to built the hatch, and bought nothing but the best equipment. Personally im trying to get him to keep it.

If money is not a thing to your friend then I would keep it and just enjoy the end product. Your friends needs enjoy it to the max and allow the nastelgic value of the car to over ride the monetary aspect. It is sweet but personally if I wanted a car like that, I would want to build in myself.

And your right, money isnt an issue for him. Thats what i try to tell him, i just think he wants another project. I agree with you fully about "built not bought"

I also think he might be a little scared of it. I dont think that he's actually hammered on it at full boost. Its usually quick spirts and doesnt go through the rpm range.

its gonna take forever to part out that car and get decent money... Really only got 2 options...

1. If you need a large sum of money... Just greatly underprice the car and hope someone notices the great deal they bout to get.. You want 18k... Expect a fast sale at around 12k..

2. Just keep it...

Im with option #2. He doesnt need the money. He makes a pretty decent chunk of change. Thanks for the input though, this is kind of what im looking for. Just seeing if he did set it at around 17-18k if people think that it is asking too much
