Default Is a mini-me swap worth it?

So this spring i should be boosting my y7 with my tax money, but i was wondering if doing a mini-me swap to a z6 or y8 head would be worth the trouble if im boosting?

as long as you can wire up that vtec and have it working the new head would be good and that would give you a chance to put on a good head gasket as well

ARP head studs as well to prevent blowing that new head gasket

you could do a mini me swap but its not really worth your time.. its only gonna give you a little more power.. to make up the difference just turn the boost up a pound or 2 extra and theres your extra hp.... you'll save time and money..and for the power you probably want you will easily make with your y7. get yourself a good turbo kit.get a really good tune... and you'll have a fun car.

Did you not read the damn thread?
Go ahead and do it BUT that crappy long geared Y7 transmission will help to negate any gains you get from doing it.
