Default Projector Headlights

I was thinking of putting in some projector headlights into my 94 accord lx. i was told that I couldn't put an HID kit into them. Is this true? Another thing are they easy to install for a DIY kind of guy like myself. Thanks in advance.

Yes it is true.

I had the eBay projectors, but switched to the TYC. Some HID's require you to file out the hole so the bulb will fit but its easy.

Agreed. Its an easy install too. Just need to take off your bumper cover and unbolt the old, put in the new.

I definitely don't recommend the ebay projectors because of their lame field of view with no matter what bulbs you put in em.

I know the TYC's are better but I don't know about their field of view, so I won't comment on that.

I've had the TYC's and HID's for quite some time. I never had the TYC w/ halogen so I cant comment on that. However, when I put the HID's in, the vision was GREAT! I couldnt tell a difference between the HID's and the halogen brights. However, they were aimed to high so I had to aim them down which greatly reduced the output. I am sure I could aim them up but just haven't. However, when I am next to other cars at night my lights are just a bit shorter then theirs for distance. Also, it isn't dispersed completely even b/c they werent meant for HID's. but overall, I am happy.

These are the one I was looking at maybe someone can give me a heads up on buying them or not. http://www.amazon.com/94-97-Honda-Ac...8700668&sr=8-3 I was also doing some research on the TYC projectors but they didn't come assembled. So I'm definitely considering buying these. Please let me know what u guys think seriously.

I personally wouldnt go with a 8000K HID kit, I consider it TOO blue, as in way past pure white and the ideal colour spectrum...
Not only does this mean that you get less output in lumens, but it also makes your vehicle something of a cop-magnet depending on where you live...

I have heard many great things about TYC so I will still push you to that option..

You'll have to Google it, fine the part #, then Google that for the black housings. They stopped producing them a long time ago...I got one of the last sets, however, in the past couple of months I saw a site or two that had the blackhoused ones. Just gotta search!

If you find the ALL red w/ a little bit of why TYC Elegante tail lights for the 96-97 accord, let me know!

I found this site http://www.elegantebytyc.com/honda.cfm but can't seem to figure out how to order them or even get a part number. I think they might have the taillights u might be looking for as well. Check it out and let me know.
