Default Accord R

I`m wondering about buying a Accord R for daily use and for track use (for fun) at the Nürburgring. I have tested one car and it felt like it had good handling and good brakes but it wasn`t that much power. Is the car good in stock condition or do I have to upgrade something for track use? What can be done with the engine, tuning? If someone have any tip I will appreciate. Links to Honda tuning etc...
I live in Europe.

if you get the Accord Type R, i believe it's already well-tuned from the factory since it has a Prelude-based motor... Mugen offers aerodynamic, performance, suspension, brakes, and accessories for your car... check out your local performance shop, supplier, or distributor in your area..! for performance upgrades, Mugen offers=

-exhaust manifold
-sport exhaust system
-air cleaner & box kit

That is not going to garner any sympathy from us. You are one lucky man.

we have the acura 3.2 tl type s which looks a lot like your accord type r, but ours has a v6 instead of your h22....plus it is a lot larger than the ATR...

here's some pics for comparison:

3.2 TL type S-

and here is your accord type r:

as you can see, they are similar but not identicle, the TL type S is larger and more powerful as well...so for once, i think we can all be glad that acura gave us a better car!...(which is very rare)

actually, it won't be...the TL is a 3.2 litre v6 and the accord is a 3.0...the CL is the same motor i am guessing, or maybe same block and slightly different heads!

The TL/CL uses the same motor, and the J32 will swap for the J30. Now if only a C32A qould swap in...
