which suspension bushing will lead to wheel hop?
just got a full energy suspension master bushing kit, but I was wondering which bushings will most likely cause wheel hop? Iv solid mounts, one piece coilovers and a lsd and am still having issues.
not interested in getting traction bars yet.

are you on slicks and what power? i replaced just about every single bushing in my front end with polyurethane ones except for the lower control arm ones where the a-arms bolt up to (which i dont think they make but could be wrong) and i have no wheel hop issues. i never had wheel hop issues to start with
have you bought a kit?

The complete answer is: all of them.
The deflection is from the wheel moving back and forth inside the wheel opening. Since the wheel is attached to the knuckle and the knuckle is attached to both the upper and lower control arms all of the bushings play a part in eliminating this deflection.

Ever had your car corner weighted? You can eliminate wheelhop in a 200whp n/a car WITHOUT traction bars...
For me cornerweighting got rid of most of my wheelhop, and getting better tires got rid of the rest (went from azenis rt615 to dunlop star specs for street use).
Also what tires are you running?

I believe my tires are a big culprit, I have some old dunlop sp8000 in a 215 45 15, I will be getting a set of kumho xs's some what soon, trying to get all the wear out of my tires so my new ones will last longer.

No mention of the compliance bushings and I know the ES kit does not come with it. I personally do not like the ES kits but consider changing out the compliance bushing with one from Hardrace it would help with wheel hop.
