My interior lights, rear defroster, int. wipers and stock radio power wont work. When ever im in the car with the doors closed it will say the doors are open on the cluster but when i switch the dome light on and off the door light turns off and when i hit the right blinker my radio will cut out (radio is wired to battery) would most of these problems apply to a bad icu???

 

no ecu prob. maybe bad bcm. or u got a bad short somewere. get a electrical diagram and see what they have incomon and go from there.

 

icu=interior control unit, ive heard these problems are symptoms of a bad capaciter in the icu.....just lookin for someone whos heard of similar problems before i waste my money

 

DA's are known for those kinda problems i use to own 2 or them and yeap they are same and no its not the ecu its just that the sensors dont sense anymore or its just not working properly.

 

check all the fuses. and check the relays above the interior fuse panel. one may be unplugged?

 

I just ordered one (ICU) myself for the same problem, should be here by Friday. In my case my rear lights, blinkers, interior lights don't work. Found it on ebay for $30.

 

Yeah it's the icu. There's a thread on g2ic abou it and the person had the same problems. I have an extra one for sale $15 plus shipping

Less then 2 hours. It takes me about 25 minutes to get to most of the bridges that cross into jersey. Same with the turnpike
