Bright white corner lights?
Hi guys. I just got silverstar ultras for my low beams because one of my bulbs burned out (will be getting high beams soon.) They are AWESOME!!! My low beams are almost as bright as my highs right now. Anyways, after i installed them i realized how far from white my corner lights are. I want to get some bulbs for them that would match the color of my headlights now. The silverstars are 4100K. What am i looking for when i buy new bulbs for the corner lights? Links to bulbs that would be a close match would be sweet!
Can't help with bulbs, but anyone know how to get the corner lights out? I unscrewed the single screw on top and tried to wiggle it forward ... obviously I'm missing something?
edit: (thread jacking) sorry guys ... newbie mistake.

I would pick up a set of amber bulbs, or just leave what you presently have in there stock.

but to answer your question as well...use a small flat blade screw driver the pop out the tab on the very bottom closest to the headlight. the corners have to come straight out so they dont break.

my lights are clear with no amber reflectors. my bulbs are supposed to be white but they are more yellow in real life. after researching my options i think that i will just deal with the ones i have for a while and eventually buy some jdm amber corners and possibly smoke them
The Sylvania Ultras are suppose to be 4100K in color. If you are specifically trying to match that color, then look for a wedge bulb in that color.

PIAA sells wedge bulbs in Xtreme White, which is 4000K in color. Although PIAA make other types of bulb in Intense White, which is 4100K in color, I have not found them to have a miniature wedge bulb in Intense White.

Years ago, when I had a 5th gen Accord, I had aftermarket clear corner lens. I started with PIAA Platinum Halogen headlight bulbs, and used an amber bulb and PIAA Platinum wedge bulb in the corners. After the PIAA headlight bulbs burnt out (5 years later), I switched to Sylvania Silverstars (4000K in color), the PIAA Platinum wedge bulb color didn't match the Sylvanias; but, I actually liked the contrast of different colors in combination.
Depending on where you live, some aftermarket auto accessory shops have displays showing the color type of bulbs. Other brands you can check are Raybrig, Cuzo, etc.

I'm not sure what to make of the PIAA Xtreme White wedge Bulbs...
I purchased a pair of on amazon for my accord's corner lights with the aim of them matching my 4500k HID kit, but it didnt even come close... Instead of looking white, it looked more... yellow/purple.
I really don't agree with the description "Miniature incandescent Xtreme White Bulbs. The closest color yet to H.I.D. (High Intensity Discharge). Match these bulbs to both headlights and other accessory lights for a sleek, unified appearance. These miniature bulbs have a wide range of applications; turn signals, side marker lights, and parking lights."
To each their own, but I would have probably been better off (and saved about $10) going with Led 168 bulbs for the corner lights...
