1. What is the idle mixture screw supposed to be set at. Like honda specs. Mine has been tampered with and i want to set it back but i dont know if its supposed to be halfway out or all the way in or what

2.(sorry noob ?) is there a fuse for a tachometer and if so where. My fuse layouts r japanese.

Info such as engine etc might have been useful but if its a b series I can say...
Its not supposed to be set in a set place.
This is how I do it....

1.Warm you motor up to running temps - Turn off all accessories, cd player etc.
2. Remove the electrical plug from the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) - The rev will drop but shouldnt stall - If it does get a helper to feather the throttle or open the throttle body butterfly a little
3. Adjust the screw and the revs will change - Set at desired idle speed.
4. Turn engine off.
5. Plug IACV electrical plug back in and turn engine back on.
6. Idle should set to what you set it as in (3)

 

the screw on the TB is a idle speed screw not a mixture screw. the way i do it is like above except when you unplug the IACV the idle should be around 450 rpm. if you can't get it this low then you have a vacuum leak somewhere and this needs to be fixed first.
after that is fixed adjust the screw to idle around 450 when it does cut off plug in the iacv and the idle should be set at 850 right where it is suppost to be.

there is not a fuse just for your tach. if you are not getting a tach signal it is usually a wiring problem either at the cluster or dizzy. i don't have much experience in that area though?
