Can you put a cig lighter in a std hatchie as it doesnt not come with oneee -_-. Can somebody direct me to some DIY thread? or tell me if its possible or not?

I am pretty sure that it is already wired to have one, just like the clock or the rear speakers. I will take a look at it tomorrow and let you know if not solved by then. Did you look at what is hiding behind the console?

 

Not quite yet. So the wiring is there it just needs to be wired up?

 

if its not pre wired, the harness is not hard to come by from the junkyard.

just get it from someone parting out their interior.

theres a plug for it already. all of the EF's came with the harness for it but not the cigarette lighter. all you gotta do is get the ciggarette lighter socket from another existing civic (88-91) and cut the lil hole on the botom right corner of the center console where it has the precut hole already there for it.

 

you really need a cig lighter?? my 91 std had a blockoff plate for both the clock and the cig outlet. wiring was still there tho..go honda!
