Recently my dimmer switch has been messing up and my dash lights would cut on and off. The other day they finally went off completely.

I realized the other night that my tail lights were not working either(brake lights are fine)

This is what's happening:

Parking lights on- Tail lights work
Head lights on- Tail lights/parking lights cut off

I unplugged the dimmer switch and spliced the black/ red(white stripe) wires together and the gauge cluster works. But the tail lights/corner lights are still not working when the head lights are on.

All fuses have been checked and are fine. Is there some relay that could have gone bad?

any help would be appreciated!
