(obd-1 conv) had code 41, replaced oxygen sensor, car bogs out @3.5k rpm...can u help
the car is obd-1 converted '90 dx crx
d16z6/v-tec
(xenocron chipped) p28 ecu
car has always thrown code #41 and has had aweful gas mileage and would cut out @ 4k rpm (like a rev-limiter).... today i replaced the oxygen sensor (with a bosch oem type from auto zone, i know but ive heard mixed reviews, and couldnt afford oem sensor)
oh and i pulled the neg. terminal to clear the codes....
since i replaced the oxygen sensor, the c.e.l. light stays solid and now i cant pull codes with the brown wire, Why??
and also now the car will only go up to 3.5k rpm instead of 4k rpm (but car does feel a lil smoother!) anyone know why the car would now cut out @ a lower rpm??
i can use all the help/advise/trouble shooting you guys can provide.
the car is my daily driver, and isnt the best situation; having bad gas mileage and a low "rev-limit"
thanks for reading, and hopefully helping me fix this problem!
