Default Sunroof motor

I may have a bad motor on my sunroof. It will buzz but not really close or open. How would you test it to make sure it is good and can it be done without removing from the roof.
thanks

Try this first. Buy an new button for the sunroof form honda, and if it still doesn't work then you have a bad motor.

Well I had the same problem with my old CRX and I was thinking the samething that I had an bad motor but it was this the button, and this to let you know the button is around $60.00... So don't flip out like what I did =P, and it's better to get new then used because you may still have the same problem.

I do still have an issue after the button try. The back pass-side corner gets hung on something every time I open it up. I can take a piece of heavy wire and jiggle around in that corner and hit something that lets it lay down. Sure like to use the roof but just did the manual crank for now. Wanting to get on the retoration piece, MAn these little cars run great and get good milage.
