i would just take it to a local exhaust shop and have them cut and weld it.they prolly charge you $50 hey maybe even less.

 

I don't know what particular domectic market ITR you're ordering it for, but there are differences in where the cat meets the exhaust manifold. USMD and JDM are different. I'm not sure about Canada.

 

Order one from SMSP, problem solved.

 

I think the new cat that you bought will fit JDM headers. for a 2.5" outlet.

For example, I believe the TODA header does not have the flange the same direction as the USDM ITR header.

 

let me tell you that's not the only one that's wrong with aftermarket cat..
once you have it fitted. i bet you, you won't pass E test after a year or so.. thats why i just hollowed it out and switch to stock cat to pass the E test

 

Your car is supposed to run the cleanest ever with a brand new cat on it.
