Default defroster doesn't work but heat does

i just traded my 92 civic for a 95 accord. I already fixed all the problems except for the defroster. when i push the button to change to defrost all the air continues to come out of the dash vents. i'm pretty sure its the vacuum but i don't have a diagram to know what line is what. thanks for any help i can get

how about when you change it to the floor or to the floor and defogger mode?

does the light come on?

you need to remove the control unit and resolder the circut board with the buttons on it. the solder joints have a tendency to crack and the related button quits working.

It is not operated by vacum. Its operated by a servo motor.
