I want to thank you guys in advance. I took my 1996 Acura Integra RS to get a SMOG tested twice, first time I FAIL with bad O2 sensor and Evap Emission Control system pressure Sensor “code number P0453”, I fixed the O2 and reset the codes hoping I would pass the second time but I failed EVAP sensor again. Do I change the sensors or how would I go about fixing this problem???? PLEASE HELP And if sensor need to be change; where is the sensor? I know where the Evap canister is located and the purge sensor. BUT couldent find the EVAP sensor.

a friend of mine threw the same code and some other evap ones awhile back ago...his fuel pump was acting up and he swapped out the pump and new gas cap and then cleared the code and the code never came back up..hope this helped

 

How cnyou tell if the fuel pump is bad?the open the gas cap d s hold pressure
