Hey guys I bought a roof rack for my sol. And want to use it for boarding.
I've heard that there's q-clips for it but I can't locate any. An I've heard I gotta custom fit them but don't know where to start. Like with what q-clip I need and what other materials I need. If anyone can help me to the direction I need would be greatful.

And also I wanna steer clear away from drilling holes on the roof and installing it tht way

theres NO need to drill in the car. if you need q clips. check ur local bike, or sporting good stores. Its actually pretty easy. but i got confused at 1st too.

you can check there site and it will tell u what q clips u need. probably q69 or q83 not 100% sure though.
u need the 4 towers, and 2 bars. all the hardware etc should come with it if you buy it new.
then u just need the board rack, and a defuser if you think the defuser is necessary.

get the spoiler it is necessary to stop the noisy annoying whistling sound creadted by naked bars....

i have a yakima kit and know, and its very annoying

 

cause u dont have the defuser? or cause ur over it?

the brackets are located on the rear 3rd brake light panel but you gotta go to the dealer and get the brackets etc. but del sols are equipped with a roof rack railing kit but its expensive and you gotta get it at the dealer

 

ive seen someone selling it on ebay once
