Default Tires- can I run a 65 front and a 60 in the rear?

I have a 00 civic lx....and it has 185/65/14's on it.

One of my friends has a spare set of blizzacks that are brand new sitting in his garage that he'll give to me for the winter- just gotta get em mounted on my rims.

However, the blizzacks are 185/60/14's - and the tires on the car are 185/65/14.

Would it make a huge problem if I ran the mismatched tires for just the winter? I dont really speed more than 75 on the highway and dont take turns in high speeds or whatever- I just put put around maybe 10 miles a day or so.

The car is my winter beater and I dont really wanna sink money into it-

I know theres a slight difference in side-wide height...however I think the added traction of the snowtires up front might be worth a slight height change- plus, it's going to be free....lol

I seriously doubt you'll notice a 9.25 millimeter change in size, you should have no problems running those tires.

cool.....
Thanks fellas.

I figured it shouldnt matter that much- so I will go grab em and get them mounted. I have a feeling we're in for some weather here in NY this year, so I'd rather have some snows on the front for a lil traction at least.

yeah thats prolly a good idea... make sure u put the best tires in the back to, because if u have little tread in the back your gonna be getting fishy a lot

^ this is actually very true.

Although...I usually put the new/best tires to the front anyway. I don't mind oversteer and I can see it coming.
