Check engine light 1988 Civic DX 1.5
Okay...When I start it..it idles really high rpm...after about 15 minutes it will idle down.Hot or cold out doesnt matter...Then when the idle finally settles down..the check engine light comes on...Sometimes it doesnt come on until I have driven several miles...it has 230,000 miles......Pampa,Texas

post in the correct section for your vehicle. pull the carpet back on the passenger side footwell. when the check engine light turns on, look at the led and count the blinks. long blink is 10 short blink is 1.
