I actually think its attractive (for a Kia!) but it definitely took a lot of notes from Si styling...

Lmaoo. I saw the commercial for it and was like wtf a new civic again, looks exactly like the mugen one? and saw the KIA emblem and was like wtf? That's hella tryna copy haha.

Trying to copy the Civic's front with the Lancer's rear.

173hp* + 2900lbs = no care. Don't need another lack-luster performing sport compact with no power. We have the SI for that already.

* 168ft.lb is not too bad but then again, who needs torque when you have short gears?

Kia / Hyundai copies all companies. Just look at the Genesis. Total knockoff of a Lexus

 

I hate to tell you but EVERY company uses knock offs from other brands. from cheap like kia, to a bit more pricey like audi. Perfect example... the a5 is identical to the 3 series coupe...hell they even have the same options, ie 3L turbo

car companies rip from another... hell, companies period rip from one another... go ahead and even try to guess how many people tried to copy the Gibson Les Paul...

i work for a honda/kia dealer and rumor from kia is this will soon become a turbo charged kia, now i think i remember reading that it will be a "sti/evo" beater with 300 hp but i cant see it happening. still i have to say with the crap kia has made in the past this one and the four door arent really that bad
