Hey all

can anyone point me in the right direction as to a do it yourself sort of wiring thing or do it yourself install guide on the itr cluster swap into an ek ?

Okay so I followed that how to guide to the letter, a bunch of stuff is messed up .... dimmer works, get the nice type r orangey backlight, rpm works..... that is until I turn the signals on then it jumps up and down... so I checked my wiring again ... all of it was exactly to the wiring diagrams from the link above... it's a 94-97 itr cluster into 1996-2000 civic. so RPm jumps when signal is turned on, fuel gauge is out of wack .. only had a half tank before and now it reads past full, everything on my stock cluster worked 1000000% fine. every light every function.

any one any ideas ????? did I get a messed up ITR cluster......

you went to all this trouble...when all you really had to do was just get a CTR cluster that is plug and play??? I don't get it!

 

Ya im pretty pissed off .. im close to just putting the pins back to stock location and getting a ctr cluster.. but they are around 400 bux ....

^^ i paid $280 for mine, just look around!

 

But I really want to use the itr cluster... got it for half of that.......

anyone know what could be going on ... ??? if the cluster is shorted... etc...... my stock cluster worked 10000% perfect

anyone heard of these clusters being "broken" and could cause problems.... my stock cluster worked perfect ... I moved the wires around as per the thread I found on the cluster swap which people have confirmed works..... so do you guys think my jdm itr cluster could be shorted??

Sell that ITR cluster and get yourself the CTR cluster. And save yourself a BIG headache.
