My 1999 Saab 9-3 Viggen
So here are just some quick shots of the car. I'm so glad I finally found a Viggen that was lightning blue and a 3dr! Probably not the most original color, but it's the one that first attracted me to Viggens. Can't wait for it to be registered this week! Here's some quick shots.

I wouldn't have minded a Laser Red or a Monte Carlo Yellow Viggen. Those are two other great colors. But I do love this Lightning Blue! And my god, it's so cheap to make power. The bad part is in these later model saabs, the motors weren't built nearly as strong due to aims at increasing MPG by reducing rotational mass. They can handle around 300whp. The transmissions don't do to well over 300ft/lbs. The bottom end can be replaced with a saab 9000 bottom end which is tough as nails and cheap. The strengthening of the transmission is the only tricky part.
Well, I think I'm going to do a 3" exhaust from the turbo back. Don't know if I'll keep a cat or not. It has a cone filter right now. I'll probably end up replacing the stock fmic with an aftermarket one...probably ebay since they did wonders on my turbo accord. My friend has the software to tune, so we'll do a mild tune on the car. I'll probably stop once I get 250 ft/lbs for the tranny's sake.

I would say the 1995 900se is a perfect car to make power from. You don't have to worry about emissions, they're cheap, higher revving capabilities, slightly stronger bottom end (not by much), and they're Trionic 5 cars. My friend got one for $500 that needed a new ball joint. It's nearly as fast as my viggen.
Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to layout my front coilover setup since only one company offers one. For these cars, the factory knuckle requires modifying in order to do the setup which is why no one makes a kit for it. I'm going to be using Koni Yellows all around, but the front I'm thinking will use a 400lb spring.
So the car now has a 3" downpipe. I painted the winter wheels white. I have downloaded T7Suite which is the tuning software and wrote my first tune for the car on my own, but I need to get a CANUSB cable to write it to my ecu.
