Hey, HT. The search for my teg continues very very slowly. I came across one that may have some potential. The guy says someone tried to break in or steal the car. The steering wheel is not on and he said I will need some parts to fix it. Here is the pic the guy sent me. They are a little blurry. It appears that the steering wheel is off the column without taking the air bag etc. first. I imagine some ****ing jackass just tried to break it off or something. I can't tell if I will need to just take apart the steering wheel and reinstall in or if it is ruin! Thanks

 

I would not generally even considered it. I can not believe the price people are charging for tegs. I mean i got made love for them but people are charging twice the KBB value. I'm fixing to start medical school so when I say broke I mean broke. However I found some steering columns for like 75 with keys. If it were to swap this I figured it would be a way to get a good deal.I deserved to be flamed for this but I will say it any way. If i was to get a hub and steering well off ebay could I bypass fixing the stock steering column? Thanks
