never heard of blackworks... nor have i seen anybody from the drag racing or road racing community using them. make's me wonder if they are another company copying cam profiles from one of the more popular brands.

I'd be more worried about the quality of the product rather than the specs they used.

Them being manufactured in China has nothing to do with quality.
Skunk 2 does manufacturing in China, as well as HKS, Tomei, Honda, Toyota etc., etc.

your right and i am aware of this. as long as the metal is going through the same treatment process and is made of the same properties it shouldn't matter. but sometimes it does make a difference. so, you mean they (those companies you listed) buy material manufactured in china??? perhaps the actual grinding is done here in the U.S. seems like everything is going over sea's. i bought a gerber knife the other day which is suppose to be american made but the steal is manufactured in china.
looks like you started a new account?

Just look at their part lineup, looks like a complete rip off of the Skunk2 line.

This is a popular brand on eBay. One of the biggest distributors for these products is RMS Distributing aka eBay user ID: jdminstock. Two of my buddies have been running their cam gears for the past 6 months. No issues so far. Not really sure about their cams though. From the looks of it, their products are similar to Skunk2 & Blox Racing. I'd personally stick with these brands instead.

By the way, their throttle bodies are not too shabby. In fact, I think they nicely built with quality in mind.

I'm sure the pink color must add like 5hp at least.

Look on there website and check out the $800 t1 wanabe catch can and the $850 manifolds. Quality doesn't seem as bad as others but they do seem to just be copying everyones designs.

Nope, this is my first and only HT account.
By the way I get and agree with your point stated above, its just a common misconception that things manufactured overseas are poor quality.

I was afraid someone would give the response I normally get from that line, "How does that raise the compression ratio?"

I'm impressed.

It pays to read carefully and comprehend I guess, especially when reading a joke or hook-line
