Post Painting on a faded Carbonfiber wing???

Can you repaint a carbonfiber duckbill wing? My CF wing's clearcoat is pealing off and i want to know how to prep it, How??

what grid, sandpaper etc. I want to apply clearcoat on it, but idk how to prep carbonfiber

I also thinking of puttin clearcoat mixed with flakes ill post if finished??
but i dont know if theres a special way to prep CF????

yes you can paint on your CF wing. What I would do is wet sand with 600 grit, clean it with wax & grease remover, then paint it or simply reclear it..

I just get the cheap stuff from Sherwin Williams or even Auto Zone. It all pretty much works the same with any brand that you get

prelude1987 has it right, sand it down good, try not to get into the cf though, then shoot a few coats of catalized clear on it, wetsand and buff it, and your good to go! If you need any help pm me, Ive done this many times, and I think Ive got a step by step with photos of it.

Hi im just wondering i finished preping and painting,
how do i finish it the clear coat is painted on and i got several runs of clearcoat onit.
what steps do i use or pics???

Use a block sander with 1000grit wet, wet block sand the runs until the surface is even. Then wet sand the whole thing with 1500 grit, and step up to 2000grit just be careful and make sure u don't sand through the clear. After wet sanding use buffing compound and a buffer at low speed being careful not to burn through the clear, after buffed, buff again using a finishing compound such as 3M machine glaze and it'll look like glass!
