Are there two different gloveboxes for the Del Sol's?
I heard that the box is different for cars with just one airbag ['93 only I think] as apossed to cars with two airbags ['94 and up]
Is this true?
Also do all Del Sol's have the same color interior [like dash and consol]?

I hope someone can inform me on this.

Yes, 93 is different from the rest.

I believe, black was the only color.

I bought a 94 box from ebay idgit that said it was a 93. We worked it out, but that cost me $20 in shipping, and I still didn't get the one I needed.. I ended up riveting a hinge on it..

yes there is two different glove box"s for the sols, there are the 93's which are flush glove boxes and then there's the 1994-1997 glove boxes which have a more detailed box, and when u swith any of them just make sure u do get the attaching brackets with them.

also yes all del sols dash"s and center consoles are all black from the factory..

only the 1993 del sols dont have the passenger side airbag (in the u.s.) and i have one for sale as well so let me know wasup....

One more thing about them. The 93s latch works from underneath, and the 94+ are 2 buttons that press inward.. The 94+ also has dampener on the right side.

 

Neither of those are my car. I don't even own a del Sol.

 

Those look kinda like Civic EX visors with the little mirrors...

I learned today that the later 94-97 glove box works for the 93. Couldn't find a 93 in the junkyard, and the local dealer wanted too much so bought a 94 si glovebox from a junkyard and installed it today. Fits great-just needed the pivot brackets and the latch that screws into the dash. Fits great-looks stock. Took ten minutes to swap.

 

i like the 93 box better because it doesnt stick out and it seems to have more room inside of it. i also do not like the pass airbag. if i bought a newer sol i would swithch out the dash and glovebox to a 93 dash and glovebox
