18" or 19"
I have a Honda Accord 97 and looking for a set of wheels but I have a problem.
I am thinking about getting 19" wheels but I am not sure if I'll be able to lower my car 3".
Here is what I have in mind
19" x 7.5 offset 45 with 215/35 or 225/35 tires.
18" x 7.5 offset 45 with 215/35 or 225/35 tires.
I know that I can get away with 18" but I do not know how inch I can lower my car.

I do not know how low I can go.
let me just tell you first of all, with anything larger than 17" (and a lot of 17's included)...your gas milleage goes to all hell...and on top of that, you basically are making a larger gear ratio with the larger wheels meaning even less power...plus the heavier wheels, equaling even less power...and then the tread wear on the tires since they will be so low of profile, meaning more money in maintaning the wheels, and once again, less power to the pavement....go with some 17's, they look good, you can lower it a good amount, and you will have at least some power left to play with for those just in case times when you need it...

Oh and gas milage didn't change with 19's over stocks, "dubz" are 20" rims, hence the name DUBS. Obviously your power will lessen, but that's why we own accords, we weren't blessed with fast cars to begin with
