96 integra SE starting problem. Sensor help please.
I have been having a problem with my TEG starting in the morning. It will crank for a very long time then if it fires it will run fine, expecially after it warms up. then if i shut it off and start it back up after a little bit it will start right up. Only after sitting overnight will it mess up like this. I've been reading a few posts on here and I think one guy had it right about the temprature sensor. because if it is bad it will be in open loop and saying that the car is running about 180deg. this will make it deliver less fuel and make it very hard to start when it is cold. please tell me if this makes sense to you. Also i believe there are 2 temperature sensors. one on the thermostat cover and one on the head under the distributor. Which one should i change?
The 2 wire ect sensor could be the culprit. I would also check main relay, or check to see which of the following your not getting at first, fuel or spark.
