dpfi to obd1 help

Default dpfi to obd1 help

i am running obd1 injectors and i have a resistor box the car wont start so i took the 4 black wires on the resistor box and tied them together with the red wire is that all i need to do to bypass the resistor box car wont keep running turns over then dies any ideas thx

sounds like you've got it right. remove the resistor box and solder the 5 wires together.

the injector resistor box should have a yellow with black stripe wire and 4 red with black stripe wires coming out of it - cut all of the wires - take the 4 yellow with black stripe wires that come from each OBD1 injector and connect all of them to the yellow with black stripe wire that went to the resistor box - if the car was converted from DPFI to MPFI, it should already have 2 yellow/black wires connected to the yellow/black from the resistor box, in which case you will essentially be connecting 6 yellow/black wires together
