Default 3in or 2.5in

Alright, i want your opinions on this.

Right now im running a GSR with AEM 3in Cold air, (REAL) RMF narrow header, and 2.5 no Cat or Resonator straight thru exhaust to a 2.5 Greddy SP2.

I was thinking , would it be ok if i go 3in straight thru instead of the 2.5?

2.5 header collector to 3inch piping to 2.5 Greddy SP2.

and the noise im not worried about, the SP2 is quiet when normal driving.

i would keep the 2.5 you dont need anything bigger if your just going to choke it down. thats like getting a big intake mani and keeping a stock tb

choke what down??? get the 3inch if you care to have more power. it will obviously be louder, but you said you're not worried about the sound level.

he was probably referring to choking it down by going back to the 2.5 exhaust at the end.

alright, i've been running this set up for a while now and i have a friend who has the copy of the header 3in piping, 3in resonator, and 3in vibrant muffler and runs perfect, i was making sure if the 2.5 at the end of my exhaust would make a big deal.
