ok last night i drove over a STUPID puddle,and i think i might of sucked some water in through my cold air intake.the air filter sits right in front of the passenger front tire..i didn"t notice anyhting right away but maybe 15 mins later my car started to sound different from the exhaust.i have a hollowed out exhaust so it would sound sick(like a loud drag car)it still loud but now it has that "SUBARU WRX" sound to it..it doesn't sound *** BEEFY as before.any suggestions on how i can tell if its a warped head,or a bent vavle?

you wont have a warped head or bent valves. but definitely possible bent rods. if i were you i would remove the plugs, disable the ignition and crank the car over a few revolutions. make sure all the water is out. and clean the plugs and change the oil. if you were still driving the car for 15 minutes i bet your engine is okay.
